Mock Homecoming 2011 - Modern vs. Traditional

Modern vs. Traditional.  The dress for this occasion is navy blue and silver, so I took two completely different approaches to the flowers and designed a more modern piece and a more traditional piece.  Which do you prefer???  My son will most likely choose the traditional one for his date this time, and knowing her, I think that is a wise choice.  It is always best to know who you are designing for and a little about their sense of style and adventure.

White roses, silver ribbon, peacock feathers, iridescent blue beads.

White roses, navy and silver ribbon, bear bush greenery, rhinestone accents.

Anyway, I like the top one best but it was a hard choice. They're both beautiful. You do amazing work.
