DF Floral Design

I'm taking a short break from designing so I can focus on designing my daughter's upcoming wedding.  She has chosen a simple winter theme for her December wedding:  curly willow, bare trees, moss covered logs, burlap, lace, white lights, willow green (dark olive), crystals.  I will post pics after the reception, but for now, here is the inspiration we are drawing from:  http://pinterest.com/fitzen/ma-wedding-ideas/                       Add caption Add caption Add caption Add caption

 Its amazing the different tastes and styles people prefer in flowers.  Not everyone appreciates your grandma's old standby arrangement of lilies, roses, and babies breath ... good thing too because it's tons of fun to experiment with unusual flowers and styles and try to create something unique. sunflowers, red roses, solidego, wheat, burlap and twine ... not necessarily innovative, but fun and country  a little more modern look with traditional flowers,  green amaranthus, pink larkspur, pink lilies, pink calla lilies, white mini spider mums just for fun =) cockscomb, green amaranthus, tuberose with lily grass the tuberose smells like heaven .... aaaahhhh so much lovelier in person ... =) let's call this one 'tropical embrace'

What a great summer wedding season it has been.  The shop has had so many brides and personally I've had so much fun consulting with and designing for Alice, Christine, Jenny, Jessica, Lexi, Robbie, Jennie, Lauren, Amanda, Megan, Cassie, Shelley, Christine, Jim, and several last minute brides.  Over the next month I'll get to finish up the season with Karla, Chelsea, Katie,  Jennifer , Samantha, Katrina, Hayle, and Camden.  I haven't had my camera with me for photos of each wedding, but I've taken a few and some of my sweet brides have sent pictures to me as well.
